Legambiente Lazio was born in 1987 and it’s the most widespread environmental association in the Region of Lazio with its 10 000 supporters, over 50 local groups and 100 classes for the environment.

The areas of activity are: denouncing the environmental offences (with particular attention to the aggression in the territory and the fight against illegal building and uncontrolled dumping)

• Sustainability in urban areas
• Protection and enhancement of urban green spaces ad protected areas
• Promotion of naturalistic tourism
• Fight against Ecomafie (organizations that illegally exploit the environment)
• Initiatives for consumer protection
• Activities about transportation, energy, sustainable agriculture, electromagnetic pollution
